Underfloor Heating Systems
The installation descriptions above are summaries only and should not be taken as full installation specifications
With all Underfloor Heating Systems, the pipe loops must be filled and under pressure during any floor laying process.
Floating Floor

This system has been specifically developed for use with sheet flooring materials and engineered boards, with a laminate, or natural timber finish.
It is particularly easy and quick to install and being a totally dry system, can be commissioned immediately after installation.
As the system has low thermal mass, it responds well to changes from the room thermostats.
Installation
The flooring insulation (client supplied) is laid on the oversite concrete
Robbens 50mm routed HD flooring grade polystyrene insulation is laid on the flooring insulation
Pipe clips are pushed into the slots leaving 50mm approx. between clips
The pipes are pressed into the clips
The Robbens Aluminium Heat Conducting Sheets are laid across the floor in rows
A vapour barrier is laid over the Heat Conducting Sheets and the sheet flooring or engineered boards laid over
60°C flow temperature
Low thermal mass system and therefore responds well to control changes
70 watts/sq.m maximum output
