Profi-Screed floors are probably the most popular of all the floor constructions that we supply underfloor heating systems for. They are essentially systems where pipes carry warm water through the floor while encased within concrete or screed

Applications:

The Profi-low or PROFIX™ Panel, when combined with a low profile quick drying self-levelling screed and a warm water underfloor heating system, provides a unique low thickness / high heat output floor heating solution for both new build and retrofit projects.

This revolutionary new system can deliver high heat outputs even at relatively low water temperatures making it an ideal solution for use with heat pumps.

Build up heights:

Just 15mm high and ready for tile adhesive. If carpet is to be fitted, a self leveling compound is used, to a total height of 18mm.

Insulation:

Available with insulation pre-bonded to the rear of the tile, even old uninsulated concrete floors can benefit form an effective underfloor heating system.

Installation:

Tiles simply click together to cover the entire floor area. 12mm pipe is clipped into the frequent securing points across each tile.

For wood floorcoverings - Cover all gaps and voids using 4:1 sand cement mix. Install real wood or laminate as afloating floor (min 15mm timber thickness)

For ceramic tiles - Cover all gaps and voids using a quick dry self-levelling compound. Install tiles directly once dry
